Non or Minimally Invasive Dentistry - August Brugera

If we do a review on the aesthetics dentistry evolution, we could notice the substantial changes on dental preparations. Not many years ago, when we had a restoration on anterior tooth, we had to start from a 360 degree straight shoulder if we wanted to achieve the excellence.

Today, with the properties of the adhesive cementation techniques, our vision is more conservative, now is less or non invasive. In this conference, we will show you the possibilities that offer us these kind restorations and its feasibility. We also analyze how can we implement the injected ceramics in the implantlogy and the comparison with other material of last generation like zircon.

An asian perspective of the challenges of tissue management & long term esthetics for dental implants - Dr. Henry Ho

The importance of bone and soft tissue stability to provide long term health and esthetics for dental implants has been discussed extensively. The factors that allow this effect to occur have been identified. However, this effect has been discussed and observed only predominantly in the Caucasian population.

The application of these factors however did not create a predictable situation in the Asian population. Therefore, it is the purpose of this presentation to provide the other necessary steps to create an acceptable long term esthetics in a challenging Asian population similar to the thin gingival biotype described in the literature.
